Mysterious & Ancient Temples
We’ll have the opportunity to explore the amazing temple complex at Angkor Wat – or at least a part of it! Built in the 12th century, Angkor Wat lies north of the modern town of Siem Reap and was originally Hindu dedicated to the God Vishnu. Around a century later the official religion was changed to Buddhism. Since Buddha was a Hindu, the change of religion was adopted seamlessly and people converted from Hindu to Theravada Buddhist, which continues to the present day.
Unconditional Love in Action ♥
Service is often called unconditional love in action – to give totally of yourself is to be free of ego, 100% present, doing what is needed without judgment. In these moments our heart opens and the truth of who we are comes through – our divine presence. Volunteer travel is a powerful experience – you risk coming home with a clearer vision of what you want in life, a deeper sense of self-realization, and clarity about who you are and your purpose in life!

I also ended here some 9 months ago and committed to a trip to Cambodia. Recently returned from the trip with David Ault , I must tell you that it was a perfect trip put together by Sheri and David. We were able to experience the culture, the people,their past and most importantly in our small way helped build a future for many. I just returned from Cambodia with David Ault. WOW! What an amazing experience!
The entire trip was a pleasure from the moment I stepped off the airplane. The hotel was fabulous and the locals couldn’t have been any kinder during our stay. I felt very safe and as a matter of fact I ventured out by myself a few times (without a worry).
We spent 3 days doing temple tours. That was VERY cool! You could never capture the beauty nor mammoth size of these temples in a camera,even though I tried
I have to say that Working at the school , playing with the children and seeing the wells go in the villages were the most rewarding parts of my trip. It’s amazing how a little help can affect in such a big way. I am hoping to take my husband and kids back next year.
I would recommend this trip to anyone! It truly has changed my life.
