There’s no doubt that Guatemala is one of the most diverse countries in Central America. Not only is it visually stimulating but it is also spiritually inspiring. Where else can you find stunning glass-like lakes, emerald green rivers, active volcanoes, mind-blowing ruins and incredible hot springs? Guatemala is perfect for a spiritual journey and it has been rumored (but necessarily proven) that this country has more Shamans per square foot than any other country! Shamans aside, I had one of my most profound spiritual experiences in this country.

Whether we’re climbing the Pacaya Volcano or journeying though the mysterious ruins of Tikal, you’ll have the opportunity to detach from your life at home and take time to get clarity about yourself. Yes - we’re visiting places of power and enchantment, but there’s also the inner journey to find our peace, centeredness and happiness.

This road can be a lonely one that’s often riddled with detours, potholes and turn-offs to no-where. On this journey we’ll travel in the company of others who have the intent to deal honestly with themselves and find their integrity within a world of confusion and illusion.

So what’s in store for you should you choose to join us on this journey? Well, first we’ll journey to the beautiful and charming colonial town of Antigua. You’ll love wandering the streets and exploring the many unusual churches and colorful buildings. It’s also a place to find wonderful antiques. We’ll have time to meditate in a couple of these churches that were built over power spots belonging to the Indians before the Spanish arrived.

Then we’re off to Lake Atitlan. It’s said that this lake is one of the world’s vortex energy fields, akin to the Egyptian pyramids or Machu Picchu. Here we’re staying in one of the most romantic hotels surrounded by beautiful gardens and the peace and tranquility of this perfect lake. The volcano in the distance makes the view complete.

Another unusual site is the church in Equipulas also built over a native shrine. One of the few Black Christ’s in the world are found here and it’s famous for the many miracles that have occurred in this church over hundreds of years. As a result this is the Holy Place that people pilgrimage to from all over Central America.

We’ll also have time to experience the jungle and the ruins of Tikal, Quirigua, Copan, Ceibal and Aguateca. I’ll never forget my day in Copan wandering into the tunnels under the city. Equally astounding is a day in Tikal climbing some of the highest pyramid structures in this part of the world - which by the way are around 60 meters high or 197 feet. We will celebrate this magical country with ceremony and by opening our hearts to possibilities unknown. Please join us on this special spiritual journey, we’ll be waiting for you...
