Our adventure in Egypt begins in the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Giza, where stone meets sky as a testament to one of the greatest civilizations on earth. Here, on the plateau of Giza, 2,300,000 blocks of stone, some weighing as much as 9 tons, were used to build an eternal tomb for a divine king. The shear grandness of these structures and monuments is breathtaking and the history amazing. Even if we wanted to we could not build a structure like the Great Pyramid or even the Temple of Luxor!
During our journey we will dream our own spiritual transcendence just as the ancient initiates did thousands of years ago. As we walk within the footsteps of those before us
with each step we come to know who we really are. We know our birthright and the eternal divinity that exists within us. We have the opportunity on this journey to be in the presence of sacred space designed for the purpose of spiritual alignment. Join us as we share in the magic and mystery of these powerful places. Join us in saying, "YES" to life and the experience of your transcendence.
We are blessed to have a wonderfully knowledgeable Egyptologist with us on our journey, and she will share her enthusiasm and wisdom of this incredible culture with us. The best way to prepare for this journey is by reading John Anthony West's book, The Traveler's Key to Ancient Egypt: A Guide to the Sacred Places of Ancient Egypt - which you can review by clicking on the picture of the book below! It is not a typical travel book, but instead focuses on the spiritual aspects of these beautiful structures. This knowledge will help you align with the intent of these structures when we are in Egypt. The art, design and proportion of these structures were truly a testament to their religion and devotion to an illuminated consciousness. When these ancient stones speak to us, whispering their mysteries and wonders, we will be ready.
As is typical for a Journeys of the Spirit retreat, you will experience class time daily, time for sharing with the group, reflection and meditation time, and one-on-one personal time with your group leader (along with fun and shopping time too of course!). It is our intent that you return home with an open heart and mind along with the tools you need to make the changes in your life you desire.

The actual schedule of spiritual teachings and what we will be doing day to day is not published. This is because we teach by channeling spirit which comes in the moment. Every day will be a magical experience for all of us, teachers included! Keep you heart and mind open to the experience life brings us.
2007 trip cost was $3999.00 double occupancy (including international and internal flights). The single supplement is $365.00 if you do not want us to match you with a roommate. If you rather book your own international flight - or if you are joining us from another county - you can deduct $540.00 from the trip cost. But unless you are using mileage points to book this flight, I strongly suggest allowing my operator to price out the trip for you because you could get more of a credit than the $540.00 if they book your flight (when they book the international and internal flights together you save a lot of money).
A deposit of $500.00 is preferred by: September 1st. If it is past that date - email me and I will do my best to include you on the trip! Final payment is due: October 1st. Any cancellation made in writing from: September 1st to October 1st will result in a cancellation fee of $200.00. Any cancellation made after: October 1st up to the date of departure will result in total loss of deposit ($500.00). Trip cancellation insurance is recommended to cover such issues. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum.
Please know that I am happy to create a monthly payment plan for you - if that works better! Just email me and we can charge a specific amount monthly to your credit card.
