Sheri's Favorite Travel Tips!

We women need to be prepared on our journeys. I love this product: Tagalongs disposable panties! Tagalongs wear-once panties are available in thong and bikini with cotton gussets. Wear'em for a day and toss'em away. They come individually wrapped made from non-woven polypropylene. Visit the website: Talalongs.ca.com
In some parts of the world we women can be toilet challenged. A great solution to this problem is to always travel with a Whizzy. This device allows a women to do her thing anywhere cleanly and safely. Visit the website: Whizzy4you.com
Duct tape is a handy item to bring on any journey. It works especially well for
preventing blisters and fixing fanny or backpacks.
When traveling, take the batteries out of your i-Pod or CD player and put them back in
reversed. Just in case something turns on, your batteries won't go dead.
Consider calling your airline before taking your journey to see if the cost for your trip has
gone down in price. If it has, you may ask for a refund for the difference in price and
you might just get it!
Tape your name and phone number someplace on your laptop computer. That way if you go
through security and forget to pick it up by mistake, they can call you asap!
If you have a lot of luggage coming home from a trip, you are better off sending it in a
priority mail carton then you are getting charged high fees for taking home an extra suitcase.
Shoes make a suitcase extremely heavy. Decide on two pairs of shoes in a neutral color
and plan your entire wardrobe around them.
Always travel with a copy of your passport in a separate location in your bags. It comes
in handy when you need a quick replacement overseas.
Traveling with those bags that you can squeeze the air out of is great for putting your
dirty laundry into. Then you have more room for gifts in your luggage coming home.
Putting a fabric softener sheet into your luggage helps keep things smelling nice when
you are traveling in extremely humid places.
If by some chance you are traveling on a tour bus amongst hundreds of tour buses,
consider taking a picture of your bus and its' license with your digital camera. You can always delete the
picture after you are safely back on the bus!

When traveling to far places like Asia, consider staying a day or two at your stop-over
airport. Then you can visit an extra city for the same flight costs.
Carrying extra zip lock bags can be a blessing. You never know when you'll have a wet item
or something in your toiletries bag that is not closing correctly.

Dear Sheri,
I want to thank you for all the love, dedication, and tremendous effort you put into the Teotihuacan trip. You are a special woman and you have all of my blessings and utmost gratitude. Teotihuacan was a remarkable experience and has left me with much to reflect on. I shall cherish the time spent with you as well as that of the group. Truth be told I believe you were the deciding factor in my resolution on making the trip.
All my love and blessings, Peter

Make travel an effortless event. Take a great book, nice music, and a small feel-good bag
in your carry-on. Things like a small tube of toothpaste, toothbrush, face wipes, pack of
gum, spray mist, and a sample of some face and hand cream will make you feel refreshed
rather than desiccated when you get off the plane.
Have you ever had a hold put on your credit card while traveling? To prevent your credit card fraud
department from questioning your overseas purchases, simply call them before you leave
so you can let them know your plans.
If the flight you are wanting to book is inexpensive you are better off holding your free
miles for a more costly trip especially if you stand to gain a large number of miles from the flight.
Have you ever seen those Coghlan's Survival Kits-in-a-Can? It is a great way to pack a
bunch of items you would never think to normally take on your trip. www.travelready.net

When you travel always take a card from the front desk of your hotel before going out for
the day - just in case you cannot pronounce your location properly or if the language is
one you cannot write like perhaps Chinese or Russian.
No matter where I go in the world I make my own coffee in my room. I take a zip lock bag
of dried creamer, coffee for the week, my Melitta cone and gold filter, and either a boiling coil
to put into a cup of water - or a my trusty Bodum pot. Another option is bringing a Starbucks
travel thermal press which acts as your cone, filter and cup together. Ahhhh....
Make your phone calls from a phone booth rather than your hotel room. Then you will not
be charged for those expensive surcharges and taxes.

Dear Sheri,
Just wanted to say thank-you so much for what you did for and with me at Teo. I'll never forget, it truly was a lifetime experience. The group was great, so kind and caring, but that’s what’s its about. Now I know what a power journey is and I'm already looking forward to my next one. Honestly, I have never felt such love. Thanks Sheri, I mean that with all my heart. Keep up the great work you do, remember many of us need it.
Love, M.Z.

Rather than risk going hypoglycemic, consider taking a supply of protein bars on your
trip. Keep one in your bag at all times just in case. Why suffer when you are traveling?
If you have a cell phone that has a SIM card in it...make sure your phone is "unlocked"
before traveling. Then buy a SIM card locally in that country and enjoy their low rates
rather than paying international roaming rates.
