Our Amazing Itinerary…

Wednesday Day 1 – Arrival in Abiquiu, New Mexico (-/-/-)

Abiquiu New Mexico Artists Retreat

Today we arrive in our lovely and charming B & B – The Abiquiu Inn, just across the road from Georgia O’Keefe’s former home in the traditional village of Abiquiu. Settle in, and wander through the tree filled shade of the grounds.

Just a one hour easy drive north of Santa Fe under the spectacular and spacious skies of the southwestern landscape you’ll be near ancient Indian Ruins, Ghost Ranch, and surrounded by stunning mountain vistas.

After settling into our charming accommodations and enjoying a fresh, healthy dinner at the Abiquiu Cafe, we’ll gather together and set up our lovely art studio space. After, we will create a sacred circle and invoke our creative muses and the Four Elements. Our circles are where we can get to know each another, and set our intent for our journey.

This is the time where we drop all our worldly cares and become completely focused on ourselves and our inner creative process in a supportive environment. It’s the time to drop deeply into our artistic desires and goals, feel embraced by a like-minded community and conjure up our creative souls aching to be expressed.

Thursday Day 2 – Vitality (b/-/-)

Abiquiu New Mexico Painting Retreat

After breakfast we’ll move into our Creative Journey. We will spend the morning and afternoon at stunning Ghost Ranch Inn, painting and sketching under the shady trees, inspired by the breathtaking vistas.

During this full, juicy creative session you’ll connect to your creative soul as your source of power. This is the place where you learn to access and tap into your wellspring of true mojo (power + magnetism).

Once you find it, then you are guided into expressing it, feeling the potency of YOU running through every cell of your body. You’ll head to lunch fully alive and open.

After lunch it’s time to chill, pamper, and rejuvenate! Relax, nap, read, check out the gift shop or continue to work in our beautiful studio. Take your experience another level deeper and have a private session with Linda about your work or life issue. The choices are all delicious because this time is for you.

After dinner, we’ll have a blessing ceremony and meditation to ask the ancestors of the land to join us during our special time here. This sacred ceremony is where we remember our spiritual self. We call in the sacredness that is always present. From this place, deep clarity, inner peace + fierce self-love is restored and recorded through drawings and connection with our dream guides.

Friday Day 3 – Inspiration (b/-/-)

Abiquiu New Mexico Artists Retreat

After a delicious full breakfast we’ll have painting time in the art studio or on the shaded grounds to continue the work from the previous day.

After lunch, our focus on inspiration takes us on an adventure to Santa Fe where we will visit the Georgia O’Keefe museum where changing themed exhibitions feature many of her little known and fabulous paintings and drawings. And of course, we will visit the wonderful museum gift shop and the central plaza in Santa Fe where the local craftspeople sell their beautiful silver and turquoise jewelry.

Saturday Day 4 – Expression (b/-/-)

Today our creative journey will take us to nearby Echo Canyon, a natural amphitheater, where we will paint and sketch under the shaded trees and bring a picnic lunch. In the afternoon there is an optional tour of Georgia O’Keefe’s home in Abiquiu.

In the evening, we’ll meet for a sharing and meeting of hearts. We’ll have the opportunity to sit in circle as powerful creators and share our experience, wisdom and artistic explorations.

Here we will do a fire ceremony to release the thoughts, perspectives and concepts that block us and no longer serve us. Who knows what will come up – but it will be magic. We will do a ceremony to release all these blocks and transform our fears into courage and wisdom!

Sunday Day 5 – Sharing and Preparing for Home (b/-/-)

Today after breakfast, we will share our work and process with each other, holding the vision for the next steps for our creative journey.  As we depart for home, rested, and nourished from our time together we’ll be ready to bring forth our inner creative Mojo and create some serious juiciness and beauty in our lives!

I recently returned from this fabulous painting retreat in Abiquiu, NM. The seminar was wonderful and Linda’s guided meditations put me right back into painting the beautiful scenery around me. I reconnected with my creative flow which had been lacking for awhile. I am always rejuvenated after taking Linda’s trips. I highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in expressing their creativity. Who wouldn’t love spending some time in Georgia O’Keeffe country!! Thank you Linda!! Hoping to return to Santorini with you next year.
