Itinerary for Creating Divine Partnerships« Back to Trip Overview
Day 1 (-/-/-) Hostal de la Luz Spa Resort
Meet the group at the Mexico City Airport at 4:00 pm. We will travel south of the city to Tepoztlán and settle in at the Hostal de la Luz Spa Holistic Resort hotel and have a wonderful dinner, welcome and relax. Our host specializes in healthy foods that are grown locally, in season and immediately harvested – and they also grow organic produce right on the property. They believe in nourishing the heart and soul and you will definitely feel that after being here are the Hostal de la Luz!
Day 2-5 (B/-/-) Love, Mystery & Magic
We spend the next four days exploring this beautiful area of the world and our relationships! This is the perfect environment for relaxing deeply and opening to the reality that we can have the most amazing, supportive, and powerful relationships. At the same time – we’ll be visiting the Xochicalco Pyramids and the Hacienda San Gabriel de las Palmas (for a late afternoon drink!) – using the energy of this region to accelerate our personal journey toward healing, happiness and healthy communication. You’ll also have time to hike the Tepozteco Pyramid too – if you like some exercise! There will be a group gathering each day, free time to explore the area, times of quiet, journaling and processing – as well as laughter, fun, friendship and great food.
You will have options during your free time and perhaps you might be interesting in climbing up to the Tepozteco pyramid. The pyramid is named after Tepoztecatl, the principal god of Pulque (an alcoholic beverage made from the sap of the agave) and important ceremonial drink. Tepozteco Pyramid has always been a sacred place with pilgrims traveling from as far as Chiapas and Guatemala.
The pyramid can only be reached by a long and narrow flight of steps located on the south side of the temple. Should you be interested – Tepozteco is about a five hour round-trip climb from town – a powerful pilgrimage and hike. (You climb around 1,300 feet in 1.2 miles!) But once you reach the summit, you will be glad you did since the views from the top are simply breathtaking.
One event we will not miss is the local market which is a tradition in the area and for wonderful crafts and foods – yum! Meet the people, explore the items in the market and have a real Mexican hot chocolate! You’ll also have time to experience some of the beautiful colonial churches in town, especially the Temple and Ex-Convent de La Natividad which is truly beautiful.
Day 6 (B/-/-) Home!
We leave for the airport today renewed and with a change of heart. New friends have been made and old friendships made stronger. We look forward to the challenge of bringing this new dream home with us!
