Itinerary for Sedona Spiritual Retreat

« Back to Trip Overview

Day 1 Sept 16 (-/-/-)

Sedona

Arrival at the Briar Patch Inn at 4:00 pm. We’ll meet for a group get-together at 5:00pm, opening ceremony followed by dinner and a restful night. If you are flying into Phoenix you can carpool to Sedona with some of the other participants or take the shuttle! Once settled in we ‘ll have an opening ceremony which may include calling in the spirits of the directions, conch shell blowing and the sharing of intentions. We spend the next four days exploring and moving through the sacred Sedona land. We’ll work with ritual, ceremony, meditation and discussion. There’s no definite schedule for these days because in Sedona we work with the energy present in the moment!

Day 2 Sept 17(b/-/-)

Sedona

In the morning we’ll have a get together for class, sharing, dreaming and meditation time.  We’ll be taking a hike today for a pipe ceremony. There will also be time to take advantage of any healing treatments our center provides. In the afternoon you may chose to have body work, or have time to journal and hike the land. In the evening we are going to share our experiences and have a meditation under the stars.

Day 3 Sept 18 (b/-/-)

After breakfast we’ll hike to the Shaman’s Cave  or another one of Sedona’s wonderful sacred sites – followed by a powerful vision quest that will go into the afternoon. These are especially powerful locations – perfect for looking inward for clarity and purpose. In the evening we’ll have the option for a sweat lodge or meditation under the stars.

Day 4 Sept 19 (b/-/-)

Sedona

The unusual rock formation of Devil’s Bridge is where we’ll be meeting for a morning ceremony.  The views from here are outstanding – a very special place. In the afternoon we’ll go into town and enjoy some of the art galleries and stores that the town has to offer. In the evening we’ll connect under the stars.

Day 5 Sept 20 (b/-/-)

sedona3

For our last day we’ll merge with the land, have a ceremony and process time. There will be some free time in the afternoon for healing therapies and/or experiencing one of the vortex’s on the retreat land. In the evening we’ll meet again for sharing, discussion and a fire ceremony.

Day 6 Sept 21 (b/-/-)

We leave Sedona today renewed and with a change of heart. New friends have been made and old friendships made stronger. We look forward to the challenge of bringing this new dream home with us!
