To Summer Vanslager:
These are all 3 immensely popular themes.

Could the artistbe Richard Corbetts?
See: http://www.richardcorbett.biz/Recent%20Work/Olive%20Groves/index.asp
You could try: "Girl gathering wheat" by Daniel Ridgway Knight:
http://www.artchive.com/web_gallery/D/Daniel-Ridgway-Knight/Gathering-Wheat.html

Actually given the popularity of the subject matter of all 3, it is difficult to help you without seeing the pieces. One idea is to show them to a local gallery. If none is nearby, would you like to send me a photo of them and perhaps I can help you? (You can ask Sheri to forward it, as I am her guide for the upcoming March 2011 Israel Journey, "Liberating the Divine Mystic Within"). You are invited to join us!

This is not to do with your trip/itinerary. I have come across a set of prints that appear to be from a Jewish artist. One is named "morning in an olive grove". Each appears to be telling a story. One appears to be a hassidic Jew coming home at the end of the day, he has a text in one hand. Two others are in an olive grove, one with a group of women from the early 1900's-maybe sooner, the other a young girl gathering wheat. Each piece is in a very dark style, dominating colors of deep greens and yellows. Looks as if originally were ink and maybe watercolor. I am interested in finding out about these art pieces.
You having knowledge of this area may have a direction for me to look? Thank you for your time and consideration. They are only prints, but I find them very attractive and interesting.

Your trip to Israel looks to be very interesting. It would be nice to know, however, how much time on day 6 would be spent in and around the holy areas of the temple mount, western wall, and the church of the holy sepulchre. These are of far more interest than the holocaust museum and military cemetery.
