In this playful heart-centered retreat with Flora Bowley and Catherine Just, we will explore a whole new way of painting and photography from a space of freedom, non-judgment and experimentation. Creative Unfolding

For 4 nights and 3 full days we combine spiritual practice with photography and painting for more mindful self-expression. Through a deeper understanding of ourselves we find our way back to the essence of who we are with clarity and lack of judgment. There will be exercises to move you more toward gratitude, opportunities to focus on your physical well being (because it feels good to feel good!) and connection with like-minded women where you can discuss and share your experiences in a safe supportive environment. Our Intimate & Historic Retreat Space

Our home for this journey will be the lovely White Stallion Ranch a 3,000 acre retreat at the foot of the awe-inspiring Tucson Mountains. The ranch is adjacent to the Saguaro National Park, a beautiful and biologically diverse region, containing desert grassland, oak woodland, pine-oak woodland, pine forest and the famous Saguaro Cactus a universal symbol of the American West. Black bear, Mexican spotted owl, and white-tailed deer range throughout this amazing wilderness.

Our western-style guest ranch is family-owned, offering a charming retreat space in which to open to your own journey. They carefully blend their personal touch with the service and quality of a fine resort. Meals are original, fresh, abundant and homemade daily based on original ranch recipes. Zion National Park has a long history of artists awed and inspired by the magnificent landscape. The constantly shifting colors and variations of light make the park the perfect place to cultivate your creativity. If you are adventurous, the many hikes and trails (at all levels) allow you the time to merge with nature, quiet your mind and settle in deep peace. Ancestral Puebloans must have felt the same way too as artifacts have been found in the park that date back to 7000 BC!

You’ll be staying at the beautiful Cliffrose Lodge & Gardens where the setting is majestic and serene with amazing views of the surrounding peaks of Zion National Park wherever you are on the property. Best characterized as a boutique style motel they feature 50 rooms and suites surrounded by 5 acres of manicured lawns, perennial flower gardens, large shade trees, and towering evergreens.
